Linda Williams is a graduate of Clyde High School and has been Food Service Director since August 1996. In this position Ms. Williams oversees all aspects of the district Child Nutrition Program operation. Job functions include administrating, planning, assessing, implementing, and evaluating the program in order to meet the nutritional and educational needs of children, as they relate to the Child Nutrition Program.
Ms. Williams has worked in the Clyde CISD food service department since 1990. She serves on the Coordinated Approach To Child Health (CATCH) Committee and the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC). She developed and implemented the districts School Food Safety Program based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles. Ms. Williams attends food service workshops and provides ongoing staff development to the food service department
Ms. Williams believes that providing nutritious meals to students promotes education and healthy lifestyles
