Ted Merryman has served the district as the Director of Student Support Services since July 2006. In this position Mr. Merryman oversees maintenance, transportation and Emergency Operations for the district along with various other duties. Mr. Merryman taught Ag Science at Coleman High School for nine years before moving to Clyde in 1994 as Assistant Principal at Clyde High School. After three years Mr. Merryman became Clyde High School principal where he served for ten years.
Mr. Merryman graduated from Coleman High School in 1979. He received his BS degree in 1983 and MS degree in mid-management in1993 from Tarleton State University. Mr. Merryman also has a Superintendent certification and certifications in Special Education, ESL and Ag. Science.
Mr. Merryman is married to Cynthia and they have one son named Rode who attends Clyde High School. Mr. Merryman has a son named Jarad who is married to Sara and a grandson named Hunter.
